It has been screen printing week around here. This is my new print which has been printed up today. I love it. I've printed it on my lovely new linen. I'll try to photograph all my new stuff in the next few days.

A new print I'm working on 'On the Farm'. I've printed it up in red on white, but I'm loving these colours. I forgot to celebrate Bastille Day. Oops, usually we have delicious crepes or some Frenchie dessert, but alas tomorrow will have to do. Bonne fête à tous Bastille. J'espère que vous avez tous mangé des crêpes et des croissants tous les jours. Au revoir pour maintenant mes amis. (Happy Bastille day to all. I hope that you all ate crepes and croissants all day. Goodbye for now my friends.)

'Rain Dancers' by Diana Jones
I love a limited colour palette. I remember my educational texts from the late 70's with lots of gorgeous purple/pink spot colours with scratchie black and white illustrations. Do you remember when you started to learn to read? As a nutty competitive type, I strived to blitz through those suckers in no time flat. I was devastated when a new girl started and she was a reader in front of me. Oh, the injustice of it all!! My favourites from the four below were 'The Donkey's Egg' and 'The Sweet Porridge'. That purpley/pink is just so 70's fabulous.
