Forgot to take a pic pre chow. Trust me, it looked beautiful. Meals ordered, striped sea bass, pork belly and ricotta gnudi. This is Mario Batali's restaurant. Seen this guy on Martha quite a lot. Great little setup, although very small. The restaurant has a very special pressed tin ceiling. Brown paper clipped onto each table with little upholstered stools. We saw an old couple at one of the two booths available downstairs. The three of us discussed a scenario that this couple have been coming here for years and this is their table. The wife was waiting for her husband to arrive and he hobbled in, as slow as a person can go, and sat close to her, so sweet.
