Summer in the city - soho

Soho is so lovely, it reminds me of Paris. Cobble stone streets and very chic shops.

Trump Soho. So funny, a little tacky and a whole lot of fun. Mrs W, Miss L and I are off to celebrate all our birthdays by giving ourselves a pampering day here. Went up to the 7th floor for a sticky.

Stella McCartney shop, so beautiful.

There are so many lovely patches of green around the city with chill out spots everywhere.

Dinosaur party in a Soho park with bonus fire engine ride.

Look out below, Mrs W came very close to slipping down one of these on the first nights in Greenwich Village. Businesses receive their goods here and they jimmy up a slippery slide for the heavy packages.

Saturday night in the city. The girls were having cheese and wine and looked so cute, so New York. This was taken about 8pm. It starts to get dark at 9.15pm, loving my second summer. The weather has been absolutely beautiful and so hot. We all woke up last night and Mrs W had to crank up the air con.

Summer in the city - Chelsea Market

Amy's bakery at Chelsea market - delicious.

The lobster place at Chelsea markets. Lobster rolls, clam chowder and an assortment of seafood fun. Will be a regular here.

Here is the plaza food hall and the lobster roll from Luke's. Yes Neat the pickle is still an accompaniment.

Took a nut bag pedicab ride, mainly middle-aged ladies getting stung with outrageously priced ride. Very fun ride though, felt like a daredevil amongst buses, cars and taxis. From the edge of south central park to Macy's $66.

Summer in the city - Anthropologie

Anthropologie loveliness made from plastic bags.

Seaside windows. These light up at night.

They write your name on the door when you try things on. Nice one!

Change room, where Mrs W got busy, busy.

Took this for the girls at Makespace. Look girls a drawer shelving system.

Summer in the city - Sydney Airport

And it begins. Lining up at the check in. Our summer in the city has just begun. Donning coats and tights these will soon be tossed aside. Bring on the New York summer.

After an interesting qantas Sydney to Los Angeles we finally arrive only to go through border security and the woman questioned,"Is that all the luggage you are taking", as we only had our handbags. The qantas woman in Sydney had assured us our luggage would be checked all the way through, when in fact we had to collect our luggage. Phew, just avoided disaster.

Here is Mrs W going through security, arms raised, crazy cat.

Put a Spot over here and a Spot over there......

It's all about he spots at the moment. Although hard to see in pics. The pink is fluorescent and and the yellow is actually sparkly gold. Bla-blinga-bling....

New Prints

A couple of new prints. I finally made the doubling girls into a print. These prints follow on from the 'owl and the pussycat' prints. I'm feeling a theme going on here. More to come.

New Floor Cushions

Bikes, Lovely Tic-tac-toe and tall ships are my new floor cushions in my winter 2012 homewares range.
Snap 'em up people. They retail for $90. Interested pop over to my shop.

Winter 2012 Girls skirts

Here are some lovely new girls skirts for winter featuring my new prints; dutch bikes/buildings, purple/pink trees, and tall ships. Snuggle up, it's about to get cold around here. Talking about cold, I'm about to ditch this popsicle stand for the warmer northern hemisphere on Thursday. New York - here I come. I'm hoping to blog from the road/air/airport. Stay tuned, it will be a feasting extravaganza. There will be the odd shop, but it will be mainly food based and flea/craft market fun.
