Grand central was spectacular. The ceiling has a beautiful mural that I was unable to get a good pic. I wish I had a destination to go to, oh well next time! The marble is everywhere.
The Oyster Bar is under Grand Central. It is a bit on the dodgy side and smells a bit like a greasy spoon cafe. It is a cafeteria/ restaurant of sorts, ie it serves the most extensive seafood menu with outrageous prices for crappy dirty tables and service. Good fun though, as you get a real assortment of people. From the fine diner to the weary traveller/ homeless guy (who eat their fill of free tasteless crackers that Americans love to put in their soup.. Ewwww!).
